American Cancer Ad Showing a Fencer

Anyone catch the ad from American Cancer? I saw it in this week's Newsweek. Shows Mattie Singleton in a pose in her fencing whites with the ocean in the background. She's a lefty holding a foil!
The ad advocates screening for colon cancer at age 50. As a nurse I know the importance of health screening and colon cancer if detected early can be treated with good results.

No I haven't seen it yet but I will hit the newstand on the way home so I can add it to my scrap book. I collect fencing related advertisements and have several Camel cigarette ads from the 40's depicting Joanna de Tuscan enjoying Camels with her coach, Some dude named Castello... They are quite amusing as they are perported to "calm the nerves, especially after a vigorous fencing match." (!!!) So, with a recommendation like that, I say we should all go out and light up a pack or two before our next bout. Gotta love Madison Avenue... Do make sure it's Camels brand though because the ads also say that 3 out of 4 doctors surveyed smoked Camels over every other brand... And if you can't trust a Doctor, well who can you trust?
