| What the Heck's a "Spork"? I'm well acquainted with the little plastic spoon/fork hybrid known as a "spork" that you get at KFC and other fast food places. But I find references to it on this board that don't seem to have anything to do with a utensil that serves equally well for eating cole slaw and fried chicken. Is this some new slang term I'm not up on?

| Spork is actually the new hybrid weapon that is being developed for trial at the world cups next season.
Now that foil will return to a more classical game, the FIE doesn't want alienate their core flickers. To this extent, they've developed the 'Spork'.
Details are sketchy, but apparently it's more flexible than a current foil and a very simple rulebook (that seems to make references to 'Calvinball' quite a bit) puts the aptly named 'Spork' into my idea of a great time.
Rumor has it KFC is interested in sponsoring the event due to the fact that their name is all over the weapon... |

I followed it and decided I'm way too old to use the word outside of a fast-food restaurant. Evidently it has something to do with those "Matrix" films . . . and I'm sooooooo not in that demographic.
Anyway, now I know--thanks!

| I'm surprised you didn't see our previous postings on this very topic. Very soon you will see supporters promoting the Titanium Spork, which they seem to think rocks in the silverware world.
I'm a Plastic Spork woman myself. |

| Oh, and did I mention that this thread belongs in the cooler. Unless of course someone came up with a duel category for Men or Women's Spork Sporting. |

Unless Gav is talking about something other than the items which may be referred to as "funbags" (there's another one for ya, blue_falcon!)
