| I'd say interview Mariel Zagunis. As the newest member of the olympic team...I don't know what to ask her but there's got to be some sort of interesting story there.

| Also- Golubinsky is gonna be there- he's kinda my role model(along with my coach- Romankov)- the'd both be good to interview.

| I'd seen that- it's an interesting interview- but, there's always more to be learned. Anyhow, I think I'm going to talk to him myself, as he's the friend of a lot of friends of mine(i.e.The russian coaching posse).

| If I were you, I'd try to interview some sabre and epee fencers. A lot of the stuff on this site is very foil-centric, and it would be nice to balance things out a little. |

| For Golubitsky -- perhaps you can hit him up for the "lesson plan" or outline from his Texas class. If not the details, then just abstractly what was covered. This could be worked up into an article, or just blatted online. Either way, any info would be helpful. |

| I agree that most of the information on this site, or at least alot of it, is foil-centric. There was an interview with an epeeist a small while back, but most of the articles pertain specifically to foil (marching attacks, etc).
I don't grudge the site or updaters any for this, as it seems to be a result of the fact that the main contributors to the site are mainly foil competitors/coaches. If there were more sabre fencers/coaches etc who were willing to step up and contribute as walter and craig do, Im sure it would balance out and they would appreciate the help. The same goes for epee.
Tho I must say the coverage, as far as news etc, does seem pretty well balanced and inclusive.

| I'm not sure about how high the quality of any epee interviews would likely be coming out of this weekend's world cup given that the weapons being fenced are MS, WS, and WF only.... :)
Sabre, on the other hand, should be manageable.

| Men's sabre interviews, even. I'd really like to see Covaliu interviewed.

I am a foilist who has dabbled with sabre - mostly in the pre-electric days. When I went to college, I focused totally on foil and have only in the past couple of years fenced some sabre bouts at club (which really helped my foil timing!)
I have no clue on epee.
For anything other than foil, I would be giving bad advice on tactics and strategies as the current games in both are outside of my sphere of expertise.
