I don't know much about horse-racing, but ESPN types say that not only is Smarty the real deal, he's facing the weakest crop of 3 yr olds in a long time.

| Is Rock Hard 10 running? He looked like with a longer race he might get closer. None of the others seem like they've got a chance really, which one is the gate-shy horse, isn't he supposed to be good? | |

No horse has pulled off the Triple Crown since 1978, but no one has ever completed the professional Grand Slam in golf either -- male or female. The Triple Crown is three races over three different tracks. Grand Slam, four tournaments on four different courses totaling 16 rounds of golf.
