| Automatically lock old threads There are way too many people who accidentally dig up old threads, which either should be dead or are out of date, causing much confusion. Is there a way to automatically lock threads after like a month of inactivity? |

| Who's to say that it's being done accidentally, or that it "should be dead"? I say leave well enough alone, and don't force newcomers to start duplicative threads in order to join a discussion which has already been started---even if it HAS lapsed for awhile. If someone wants to resurrect an old thread by posting something worthwhile, who does it harm? |

| I agree with Inq. There is really no reason not to start up old threads again. What if somebody wanted to know how to get a girlfriend?

| This thread could close anytime now with very little harm to the fencing community...
