| The journey to Arconia was fun.....her Dad had let her ride a big horse, instead of her normal pony.
A voice cut through the fog. "Zelda?" it sounded familar, but she couldnt place it.
"Who's that?" her voice was loud in the forest, disturbing the nearby birds.

| "Not talking to you. You did bad things. Want to talk to Rosie Posie" Zeldas voice was childish, almost as if it were her 4 year old self talking, and not the adult queen.

| Rosaline stepped over a little farther to give him room but didn't move much farther. She glanced to Nękos, confused at Zelda's reaction.
"I'm right here Zelda, what can I do for you hon?" She asked timidly with another glance to Nękos.

| "Want to go home to my Dad. Can you take me home Rosie? Please? Swords is being mean."
Rosaline looked at Naekos and raised her eyebrow at him.
"Now what do we do?" she asked.

| "You should come with us now, Zelda," Nękos said carefully. "Do you really wish to be in a tree?"

| Rosaline sat still for a moment and put a hand on Nękos' arm just as he was about to speak.
"I know Zelda, why don't we go hunt dragons? We can hide from the pirates as we go."

| "Nope. More comfy here. Besides, dragons and pirates are scary." Zelda moved forward a bit, dangling her feet in Naekos and Rosalines direction. "You gonna have to come get me if you want me to go with....besides dragons are only ound in fairy tales."

| Nękos turned to Rosaline and raised his eyebrows for a fraction of a second. "Well, here goes!"
And with that, he dropped from the tree, catching Zelda's ankle on the way down, yanking her from her branch. The timing worked out such that as he landed on the ground, she landed in his arms, and they rolled together. As soon as he recovered, he lay her out in the grass. "Now, my lady, is this not more comfortable?"

| Zelda looked up at him. Her eyes half open. The fall had been unexpected and had broken momentarily the link her mind had with the past.
She smiled, "Definately, tree bark can be slightly scratchy on ones skin ya know."

| "Nękos!" Rosaline snapped as he grabbed Zelda and dropped to the ground. She grabbed Zelda's branch and dropped herself to the ground, landing crouched on her feet.

| Nękos paid no attention to Rosaline, but instead addressed the former queen whom he now crouched over. "Tell me, Your Majesty, how have I been mean?"

| "You took my kingdom away you mean man. Just like Gideon took Daddys village away." The fog was encroaching on her brain again, memories from long ago clammering to be heard.

| He found himself putting a hand gently to the side of her face, and..caring?
"Zelda, come back. Stay now. You did not want the kingdom, remember? You told me you did not want to be queen."

| "Nękos," Rose interjected quietly, "Maybe I should you know, she's rather mad at you right now and I don't think you'd be the first face she wants to see."

| The Swordsman merely gave his new subordinate a 'will you shut up already?' look.

| Zelda heard voices. Voices of people she knew. Not voices from the past.
"Naekos? Rosie? Whats going on? Why am I lying down? I didnt fall off Abercrombie again did I?"
The queens sudden return to normality gave both Rosaline and Naekos a start.
