Array "Alright, either way they're both old and should get medical attention as soon as physically possible." Rylus replied, working rather hard at keeping his temper in check. Array "Well then," Meekal interjected, "let's stop standing around here, speculating, & get something done." He looked to Nækos. "Are you still in charge? And who is going to find someone to bring back for these people?" Before Nækos could answer, he looked to Darion, who stood there, unsure of whether or not his last statement was heard. "What about Zelda? I think we missed what you said. She's not coming back?" "Words are, of course, the most powerful drug used by mankind."

Array "I believe my sister went to get the Queen and I don't know about anyone else, however the two of us know where the next town is and who the doctor is along with where to look for him. If that's of any help." Rylus replied. "Wars may be fought with weapons, but they are won by men. It is the spirit of men who follow and of the man who leads that gains the victory." - George S. Array “Queen Zelda has refused to return with Senyik and me.” Darion told her.
“If she wasn’t out of reach we’d—.” Darion gave Senyik a quick elbow to the ribs and his statement was cut short. “Swordsman, we need to have a word with you.” he finished, gingerly rubbing his side. Array "I will go to the village," Nækos informed Rylus. "I am also still in charge, Meekal, though I will be placing you in command of the group while I go to the next village. Array The two of them nodded and followed the Swordsman as he started to make his way to Onyx. “Zelda resisted us Swordsman.” Senyik told him, his eyes smoldering with annoyance. “She climbed a blasted tree and gave us a message to deliver to you. She said ‘Betrayal is forgivable, but it should not happen to be forgiven.’” Darion nodded in verification of Senyik’s story. Array Nækos came up short. "She said what?"
"'Betrayal is forgivable, but it should not happen to be forgiven.'"
He snarled. "Change of plans. Senyik, get on this road here and follow it straight out to the east, as fast as you can - that will bring you to the next village over. Get help, send them on their way, and then catch up to us. I expect you in no more than three hours. We will still be going north; I trust you can track the group through the wood. Darion, you go with the group. I will go to Zelda - where is she, exactly?" It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us the freedom of the press. Array “Deep in the woods, about a quarter mile back behind us. Rosaline has already gone to look for her.” Darion told him. He watched as the Swordsman and Senyik mounted up quickly, both to be heading off in different direction.
Darion looked around to see who was still here. Meekal, the Gypsies, Rylus, and Miri were still present. "We have much to say about this, but it is hard to explain because you are slow to understand." Hebrews 5:11 -

Array Rosaline had gotten off her horse and climbed a tree herself. The branches were far apart which left it easy to peer into the other trees. She climbed until she was about three fourths of the way up, some of her muscling groaning. She would most definately be sore in the morning from the days activities. She had just started to look through the other trees when out the corner of her eye she say two horses take off from the village. She turned to see what looked to be Senyik heading east and the unmistakable figure of Nækos coming straight at her.
"Great," She sighed to herself and went back to looking through the branches. "Wars may be fought with weapons, but they are won by men. It is the spirit of men who follow and of the man who leads that gains the victory." - George S. Patton -

Array Zelda sat in the tree, her eyes closed, her mind a swirl of emotions.
The village been attacked by itself she could have handled, Swords taking over the throne she could have probably handled, but the two together, well, it sent her on a downward spiral.
Her mind set on a memory, one she thought she had buried.
A village by the sea, smoking and in ruins. The fishing boats burnt to the water line, the acrid smell of burnt plaster. People, walking, their eyes wide and their faces stunned. The thin high wail of a child, the answering hush of a mother. Her father, standing on a battlement, looking down at the village, his face full of anguish.
"If only I hadnt trusted him. I gave those people my word, now look what has happened." A small girl child stood next to him, looking down on the village as well.
"Daddy," she asked "when will I see Zarcon again? I have to give him his sword back."
Her father turned and looked at her, his eyes dark, "NEVER mention that name, nor Gideons again."
Her eyes went wide, her pink lips formed a perfect O.
"Why daddy?"
"Because Zelda, sometimes you make judgements that you believe are right, and they are then proved wrong in the worst possible way."
The young lass sat down aburptly on the battlements and pulled out a miniture sword, and looked at it. Scratched into the hilt was a crude Z, and a skull and cross bones. Theses are evil....VERY evil, someone rescue me pls! -

Array Zarcon had given it to her the other day, when they were playing on the beach. They had been talking about what they wanted to be when they grew up....She remembered saying she wanted to be a brave knight, and slay dragons. Zarcon gave her his sword and told her that if she was going to be a knight she needed a sword.
It was then that his father, who was the harbour master, came by, and sent her back up to the castle. It was unusal as it wasnt yet twilight, but Zelda obeyed, knowing that her father trusted Gideon completely. Theses are evil....VERY evil, someone rescue me pls! -

Array Rosaline quickly spotted a rather dark dark shadow and grunted in satisfaction when she saw Zelda's outline. She quickly but carefully began stepping from limb to limb, sometimes going up, sometimes down. She slipped half way to reaching Zelda and began to fall before she caught the branch below the one she was standing on. Just as she caught it however another branched grabbed her and pulled her back to the trunk. She looked down to see an arm instead of a branch around her waist. Steadying herself, she looked behind her to see Nækos giving her a steely glare. She pulled his arm away and grabbed the branch above her to reach the next tree.
"What exactly are you doing?" Nækos asked behind her.
"I'm going to talk to my queen if that's alright with you." She replied cooly and stepped to another branch.
"Why not walk?" He asked.
"Because it's a nice day to climb a tree. Or is that against Arconian law now?" She shot back but didn't wait for an answer as she continued on her way. Array Rosaline reached Zelda to find the other with her back turned.
"Zelda, erm is there anything I can do for you?" She wasn't going to ask if she was alright because the answer was obvious. No. "Wars may be fought with weapons, but they are won by men. It is the spirit of men who follow and of the man who leads that gains the victory." - George S. Patton -

Array It was at twilight they struck. Two ships, cannons blazing, came into the cove. Gideon had hauled in the spiked bouys which usually lay across the harbour to let them in. It could have only been him, only he had the keys.
Suddenly a voice penetrated the fog of her brain, "Zelda, erm is there anything I can do for you?"
"Tell Zarcon I never meant to take his sword for ever. I was going to give it back." Theses are evil....VERY evil, someone rescue me pls! -

Array "I beg your pardon?" She asked now extremely confused.
She stepped onto a brack just below the one Zelda was sitting on and crouched on it, watching Zelda's eyes.
"Zelda, Zarcon's dead. He fell of the cliff with Arcon." "Wars may be fought with weapons, but they are won by men. It is the spirit of men who follow and of the man who leads that gains the victory." - George S. Patton -

Array "Why was he angry Zelda?" She asked carefully.

Array Nækos slipped further up the tree, just beside Rosaline, motioned her back. "Zelda." he said simply. It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us the freedom of the press.
