You should also try the sliding shorts. Pocket for a cup, and pads on the hips/legs for those hard hip hits.
For those looking to buy, you can either check out the website: www.underarmour.com
or check out: www.eastbay.com
to compare Under Armour with it's competitors.

| People actually wear pants under their knickers?
I just wear underwear(boxers), and a t-shirt under my jacket.
Tho I want to try some of that underarmor stuff.

| Are we talking shorts as in underwear, or shorts as in outerwear?
I wear athletic briefs (works like a jock strap, but looks like normal underwear) and a cup...
And whatever T-shirt I happen to throw in my bag...

| I also wear athletic briefs with a soft cup (having been hit in the happy sack before now I find this invaluable). Don't wear anything but a plastron under my Jacket.
I have a Duellist jacket with a wicking lining so a t-shirt tends to absorb the sweat and not allow it to be wicked away (if that's a word!). |

| Wouldn't it be wet and slimy to not wear anything at all underneath? Ugh, I could only imagine the stench in the car on the way home. |
