    The Crown of Texas Open

    The Crown of Texas Open is our big event in Amarillo Texas. we have recently re-named it. We use to call it the High Plains Open. I am sure most of you have already heard about it but here is the basic run down.

    This is an update about our big event that will be held on June 5th and 6th in Amarillo, Texas.

    I think everyone on the board knows about the tournament at this point.

    From a marketing point of view - changing the name after you've been promoting it isn't very smart. You could change it next year, but making a name change mid-promotion loses you any "brand" you've built up.

    I do not expect to see a bunch of new posts promoting the new event, however.
