    prry-repost?

It is like this as I fence my opponent he made the attack and I parry repost but his blade got off and hit my mask first before my repost then is it still my point? Or is his off target?

i never truly understand how dose the rule parry repost works in who favor who

Parry-riposte has the right of way. As long as the riposte is begun immediatly and it is continuous then you're dandy. His off target would have been a remise, assuming you parried in time of course.

the off target only would have stopped action if it had right of way.
Fencing will always be a "for love of the game" sport.

if his blade hits your mask at the same time, or before you parry, it's an off-target. If you parried before he hit your mask, then it's your touch.

Or, prehaps, to be a tad more accurate, if you began your riposte before he hit your mask it is your point.

If you set a man on fire, he is warm for the rest of his life.

Always assuming that the ref sees it the way you describe, of course...
