| RI Clubs I've got a cousin who is an avid martial artist and rapier aficionado. So I suppose that he was bound to inquire about fencing sooner or later. He lives in Rhode Island, near the Woonsocket area, to the best of my knowledge. I have conducted a search of my own and turned up several reputable-looking clubs, but I was wondering if any of of you fine ladies and gentlemen have had any firsthand expierience with these establishments. My cousin is a serious competitor so, knowing him, he'll attack the study of the blade with a vengence regardless of the club. At any rate, I'd be extremely appreciative if any of you with knowledge on the subject would just post the name (or acronim, repectively) of the club and your impression of it.
Thank you very much.

| honestly?
if you're interested in foil/epee, RIFAC is decent....
but the more you get into it, you're just gonna drive up to the boston area clubs.... |

as for the clubs, yeah, RIFAC is where you should go. they produce good foil, and pretty good epee. their sabre's okay, but if he's interested in that I would recommend going up to the boston area clubs (specifically Prise de Fer).

| Enh...RIFAC is decidedly un-ok for sabre, I would say.
But, it is fairly excellent for foil, and epee I dont know so much but I hear it's decent.
