Array Your signature color? Just for funnsies, let's see what color(s) you'd choose for your fencing uniform, if you could pick anything and all the other fencers were doing the same. Assume white white white is not the standard.
Even with that opening, I might still be drawn to a white-and-blue combo of some sort. Or black and blue (to hide bruises).

Array Dark crimson. With some sort of sparkly bits on, like little jewels or sequins... Louweasel

Or maybe candy pink with a flower pattern in pastel colours... Louweasel

Array For me, dark blue or black. It hides my form, and keeps people from checking out my hot bod. It's my hot body. I do what I want! -

Array I like the white, personally. And dispite what I said in the other thread, I prefer the silver lames.
That being said, yellow. Bright, taxi cab, smiley face yellow; just on the socks, however. -

Array Katman- actually knew a fencer with bright yellow smiley face socks. They were great, her bandana matched too! -

Or maybe candy pink with a flower pattern in pastel colours... These are the flowers I wanted to add, but thought them a tad too flashy for the Power-Woman image I project. So I'll choose to sew an equipment bag from the fabric instead! http://www1.shopmay.com/gifts/Online...nd=6063&R=1984 -

Array Silver and Black. The same as my Utilikilt. Not that I would wear that while fencing. A lunge would be most a revealing affair. -

Array After all the talk about it now, I reallllllly want one of those ugly multi-colored lame`s from blade.
I just think it would be alot of fun to fence in. Probably with silver knickers.
The bib for my mask would have to match the lame`, and the mesh would be a big black and white peace sign. I think the glove would be silver too.. "Their interpretation is, however, refuted most elegantly by your system of radioactive atom + amplifier + charge of gun powder + cat in a box"

Array How about a rainbow lame with one of those bright red or green masks, with red or purple knickers, tie-dye socks, and solid gold shoes (to represent the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow)? "Contrariwise," continued Tweedledee, "if it was so, it might be: and if it were so, it would be: but as it isn't, it ain't. That's logic." -

Array Despite my sometimes loud support of the right to have colored kit or ones choise, I think mine would be fairly modest. Maybe a PBT light blue mask with a PBT blue ice lame and matching glove/socks. Of course I can have that now...
Okay how about Black pants/socks/shoes with a navy blue "bloodstripe" and a navy or dark blue jacket/mask/glove with black or silver trim/piping for my epee outfit. Of course the mask would need a demon face painted on it... Just another lost soul saved by the (hit) First Church of EPEE!

Array Knowing my club and its preferences, I'd probably end up with some variation on the club colors--black, red, and yellow.
I would adore being able to wear a fencing uniform that didn't emphasize the size of my rear end. I loathe white for any sort of trousers, period. "Arm yourself, Watson, there is an evil hand afoot ahead." -- Dennis Pierce, 2010 Bulwer-Lytton contest, detective fiction category runner-up. -
