question to webmaster. Would it be possible for you to put a way to search the archive of topic/responses?

If you click on the "search" link for the forum, you should be able to seach all of the discussions and archived discussions that are on this site.
There are some discussion threads, etc. from 1999 and 2000 that are no longer online. It's amazing how much disk space some of the flame wars took up. ;-)
If you're having trouble finding something that you knew was there, email me and I'll see if it's on my offline backup.
