Josh let out a short laugh. "No it's not that. I just heard this professor is a complete slave driver. I'm not looking forward to it at all." he found a parking space and pulled in. Getting out, he walked around and opened the door for Chelsea. "But at least one of us is done with classes for the day."

"Thank you," she slid out of the truck, pulling her bag over her shoulder, "Actually I tried to get in that class but it was full."
Chelsea grinned as she turned to pull her bags out of the box. Josh stopped her and got them for her.
"Tell you what, if the slave driver over loads you just come find me. History's my thing so maybe I can help you out." She offered, pulling her pillow from Josh's load and tucking it under her arm. "and you can help me with my . . . russian should I ever feel some weird random desire to take it. Deal?" She winked.

"Sounds like a plan to me." he smirked at her. Together they walked into the dorm and up to their hall. Josh walked her all the way to her door. "Well, let me put these down any old place and then I got to get to class. Last thing you want is to be late for a slave driver's class."

Chelsea took her bags from Josh.
"Thank you very much," she smiled as she fumbled in her bag for her key, her hair kept falling in her face so it took her a while to get her fingers around it. She looked back up, tossing her hair out of her face. "Listen, if you don't have too much homework or you're bored or something give me a ring." She shrugged, "I dunno maybe we could grab some dinner or something, Oreo shake and all." She smiled.

Josh’s art history class was everything he expected: long and boring. Chelsea was dancing around in his head all period, he was lucky he only got called on once and that was for a no- brainer question. He lucked out. He did recognize a few people from his dorm hall in the class, but none of them seemed very interested to talk to him. He figured he’d give Chelsea a call afterward, see what she was up to.

Back in his room he plopped his book bag down on his disheveled bed sheets and grabbed his cell phone, dialing her number. “Hey, I got homework.” He started, a little hesitantly. “How are you with art?”

Chelsea laughed as she closed her books and switched ears to cradle the phone on her shoulder as she stuffed her books back into her back.

"Well, if it's history and art then I could take a bash at it but if I have to draw anything for you, you will surely fail." She replied, pushing her bag under her desk and tossing herself on her bed.

"Oh never fear then, I just need some examples of Medieval paintings, only a couple. I have to point out similar details about them. Some introductory exersize that probably won't count for uch. But you know . . ." he paused a second. "I just wanted to make a good impression. You know how that goes?"

She grinned even though he couldn't see it. "Sure I know how it goes. If you've got a book with a few illistrations I'd be more than happy to help you out. However I'm famished, so the price of my help is you have to eat with me." She replied and noticed that her ceiling looked rather bare. "but I don't care where we go or what we eat as long as it's food. So it's entirely up to you."

"Hmm, the cafeteria's still open for another few hours. Lets head there. I've been meaning to try their cheeseburger. Some said it's actually not too bad." There was a long silence on the other end of the phone. "Hey, I'm as shocked as you are. I got all the stuff ready, be over in a few?" he asked.

Gina looked down at her pj pants and old highschool t-shirt, then smacked her forhead with her hand.
"Right, I'll talk to you then. Ciao." She quickly hung up the phone and jumped from her bed. She dove to her closet where she found a good pair of jeans, threw them on the bed, followed by a three quater sleeve blue shirt, and her shoes. She changed quickly and checked her mirror before turning to grab her cell and her wallet. She turned back to the mirror however with a double take. Her hair was on end. She snatched up her brushed and combed it down as best she could before throwing her shoes on. She then began throwing clothes and anything else that was cluttering her floor into her closet.

Josh grabbed his books and took a quick glance at the mirror before he made his way out of the door. He hadn't seen Mike in a while . . . so much for looking forward to getting to know his room mate. But right now there was someone else he was looking forward to getting to know. He knocked a couple times on her door before leaning casually on the door frame. He glanced down the hall to see Mike coming down toward their room with books in his hand.

"Hey man, been busy?" Josh called down the hallway. Mike nodded, wearily as he reached for the door nob of their room.

"I need some sleep man, I was pulling an all-nighter last night." he replied.

"Already?" Josh asked, surprised. "Dagone man, the year just started! What class?"

"Way too many." he replied. "What're you up to?"

"Oh Chelsea and I are going to grab a bite to eat. She's gonna help me with my Art History homework."

"Oh she is?" he replied, lifting his eyebrows. "Well have fun man. As for myself, I have a date with my bed." with that, Mike disappeared through their door and it shut two seconds later, just as Chelsea's door opened.

"Hello," Chelsea greeted him cheerily as she kicked her sweater back behind the door. Josh grinned a hello as she opened the door for him to come in. "I just have to grab . . " she turned in a circle then bent and scooped up the sweater she had kicked. She grabbed her phone, sticking it in her pocket. "Shall we?"

They walked out of her room, Chelsea locking the door behind her and they started towards the elivator.

"So you just need a few details on paintings?" She asked as Josh reached over to hit the down button.

"Yeah." Josh added as the elivator door opened immediately. "I have to find the similarities in the paintings and that will . . ." he mimicked his profs deep, monotone voice "Help identify the style of the specific age." Chelsea laughed. "I don't think it should be too hard. You got anything I can help you with?"

"I'm actually done with my work for tonight, finished right when you called. Perhaps later though, are you any good at math?" She cringed at the word as she pushed the button for the lobby. Leaning back against the wall, she propped a foot up behind her, pushing her hair out of her face.

Josh laughed long and hard. "I suck at math, darlin. Please don't ask me to do any of that stuff." The elevator reached the bottom floor and they walked out. "I'm good at a few things, but math is definitely not one of them." He got the door for her and they walked out toward the cafeteria. Josh stuck his hands in his pockets and kicked at a rock. "What class you taking?" he asked, glancing over at her as she fixed her hair.

Chelsea furrowed her brow. "History, English, math, and theater." She laughed glancing over at him, "I told you that yesterday dear. At which point you told me your classes, Russian, Art History, and erm . . others." She grinned. "Uh isn't the cafeteria that way?" She asked pointing down a sidewalk on Josh's side.

"No no, I mean what math class? They've got plenty of them." He smacked his forehead with his palm. "And yes you're right, it is that way."

Chelsea laughed and took his arm, steering him in the right direction. "I'm taking math 1010. Luckily I only have one more to go after that and I never have to see another math book again. Part of the beauty of majoring in History. Speaking of which, how many paintings do we have to pick details of for you?"

"Only two, thank God. He's just trying to get us in the artistic mindset I guess. And I completely agree about the math, I only have one to take and I'm taking it next semester. Basic level stuff, shouldn't be that hard."

"Famous last words." Chelsea told him, with a smirk. They came to the door of the cafeteria and spotted the sign hanging on it with big letters that read
"Closed" and proceeded to give the hours it was open. Apparently it was closed for a special, private function.

"Hmm." Josh thought. "I'd offer you some ramen up in my room but Mike's trying to get some shut eye after an all-nighter." The two of them stood there for a moment not knowing what to do. Just then a drop of water on Josh's nose made him notice the darkening clouds above. "Uh oh." was all he managed.

"Order out pizza in my room, and I'll double the milkshake next time?" Chelsea asked holding a hand out palm up to feel two drops.

"Sounds great." Josh replied, grabbing Chelsea's hand and jogging back towards the dorms. They'd barely gone two feet before the cloud burst and they were pelted with very large, very wet, very numerous drops of rain. Josh laughed at Chelsea's wrinkled nose towards the rain. "At least it's not chocolate milk." He teased.
