| Broken Foil, need replacement ASAP I broke my # 3 foil yesterday and am fencing a foil event (Gaa!!!) in 2 1/2 weeks. I'm looking at The Fencing Posts selection and am looking to purchase one of their FIE blades, but not the Uhlmann. I love the Uhlmann/BF blades, but I don't have the money to spend on that one. Between Prieur, StM, and Leon Paul, what are people's personal preferences?
Nevermind this, I went cheap and got the non-maraging Uhlmann.... as if I fence foil enough to go FIE.

Don't worry, I'm ordering that blade with your name on it, buddy! And when I wire it up, I'll be thinking about you when I leave no exposed wire around the plug!
Hmm..... think you've got a smug cat, eh? I guess I'll have to pull out the 'ol digital and show you one spoiled, 9 year old puppy.

| Groovy, you'll likely be fencing me at the Clear Lake Open. I won't be directing foil that day (if I can help it).
Also, that's not my cat. That cat's name is Kitty Beauregard and he belongs to someone from another forum I post on.
Aaaaaaaaaaand, just to be a little less hijacked, I've only tried a Prieur maraging foil blade so I can't compare anything. It's, um, maraging-ish. |

Maybe we can warm up together before the event starts. Hopefully I'll just make myself not care how I do and just have fun.... not!
Kitty Bauregard, eh? That is a crazy name. Here is a pic of my 9 year old Pekingnese named Baby. I tried to get a pic of her looking sweet, and another of her giving me her evil look. Unfortunately, she had oral surgery yesterday and was too tired to get annoyed at me tapping her nose and I felt too bad for her to really pester her. Oh well, maybe another day.

| Now for further hijacking!
Katman, I'm guessing that the other forum you got that image from is the same as the one in the image itself? If that be the case, what's your username there? The only similar one I can find is "Katman911", which from various things about the account, doesn't seem to be you.
Also, cat. Ten years too old to be a kitten, though.

| Oh hey, that one seems to match up better. Seems you post just slightly more often than I...
