Athens/World Cup Suit diff? Hi all, i know Allstar and Uhlmann are 'brothers' . So what's the difference in their attire for Athens and world cup? i.e. which is better?
thanks in advance! -
Allstar = fitted fit. Ideal for the leaner body type.
Uhlman = looser fit. Ideal for the robust body type. -

Uhlman = looser fit. Ideal for the robust body type. You missed the big difference between the two:
Allstar = Red
Uhlman = Blue -

lol....so the only diff is that their logos are diff? i.e. material/make exactly same? Also, the Uhlmann Olympia's equivalent is Allstar's 'Startex' right? -

Yep, though the difference in fit that mifencer pointed out can be noticable. Allstar uniforms are cut with more taper in the body, if you're slender they'll fit more closely, but may be tight around the waist if you're of stouter build.
Oh, yeah, in addition to the reb/blue trim color, Uhlmann sometimes puts funky-patterned fabric on the inside of the collar (like leopard skin).

-Dave Fortunately, my collar is the standard Uhlmann blue with Uhlmann written on it. I'd have shipped the jacket back if it had a leopard print on it! ... without remorse for the past, confident in the present, and full of hope for the future, [d'artagnan] went to bed and slept the sleep of the brave.

-B LOL! Actually since I didn't attend U of M or MSU, I don't have an allegience to either one. When they play other schools from other states, I cheer on the team from the State of Michigan. What can I say, I'm a home town fan -- for the better or worse. Go Wings, Go Pistons, Go Tigers, Go Lions (*sigh*).
Back to the thread:
I have 3 Allstar jackets and 1 Uhlmann. Only my Uhlmann jacket do I have a problem with my forearm. I don't think I have a huge forearm, but the Uhlmann jacket makes it feel really tight -- none of the Allstar jackets do that to me. -
ahhh so i guess the majority of you guys support Allstar no?
one thing about uhlmann's website though....it's appearance never seems to change! lol -

one thing about uhlmann's website though....it's appearance never seems to change! lol The problem with Allstar is the U.S. Distributor. He's sometimes... well, not liked very much. A lot of people go directly to the German websites, which I recommend as well. That is, if you cannot go to a NAC / Nationals to visit the vendors (b/c you usually get better deals -- especially now with the exchange rates). Similar Threads -
