A sword is not in itself violent,
though it can be used for violence.
It can be a breathtaking work of art,
or an object capable of unspeakable horror.
The sword is not merely a tool,
but a mirror that reflects the character of the wielder.

Not a quote, for the most part original. I say for the most part 'cause I'm pretty sure that the sentiments are not unique or original, just the wording.
