Calendar

This is more of a question than a suggestion... well kinda...

I have tried to post our big regional style event, The High Plains Open on the calendar feature of this discussion board but I cannot find a way to do so..

Does anyonwe use the calendar feature or is it just kinda there? If they do how?

I would think that if enough event organizers started using the calendar to post upcoming tournaments, events, shows, meetings, etc. that the people here would start looking at the calendar on a regular basis.

Craig and Gav could probably even put in a highlight to let members know that there are updated information on the calendar in an obvious place to send people down to look.

Until then, if you input information into the calendar, it looks like it will show up along the bottom of the screens with the online user info and the member birthday info.

I added the High Plains Open (our big event) to it.. I wonder if anyone ever looks at the calendar... It would be great if Craig started a sticky type threat on the general fencing discussion board so that everyone knows about the feature....
