You mean the satisfaction of being 2nd-best isn't enough?

    I'll be there, with a decent-sized crew from the U of R.

    Hiya Eric.

    It's Eric from FEX.

I will be there as well for the foil and epee.

I might have to convince Chris to come too, but we've been skipping practice for weeks.

Does the runner-up get a consolation medal?

well no medals for 2nd place, but you get a nice wooden placard. What do you think darius about the last placard for the last tourney? But epee, is guaranteed to be at least a B1 tourney and Eric, you should never settle for 2nd....

Yep, the both the foil and epee are prieur maraging blades with a german tip in a french tang (we can cut them and set them for the winner if they so desire).

    They were sent -- you're a D04 and Kara has an E04.

    How will the sabre be?

I may be an hour or so away that weekend.

    Worth the drive?

Sabre is usually a D1 at binghamton, but there is a strong chance it will be a C1. We haven't offered prizes before so that might bring more sabre fencers out. Hope you can make it.

The more the merrier. I'd be thrilled if Binghamton could put together a B-rated tournament; I'll be down there (C), and there should be some underrated foilists from Rochester coming too.
