| Ah, the sabre begins to look a bit more promising!
I have sent out an email to all of the sabre fencers in my area, attempting to cozen them into attending. No replies as yet. Typical. |

| it would be great if you could bring a few people up.... I've been in contact with a coach in Albuquerque, NM who is gong to bring up some more sabre fencers so the sabre could end up much, much larger.....
Hope everyone thinks about coming! |

| I thought Daisy Flores (Gilkner?) was exclusively epee??

| Nope. She actually started in foil, I believe. But epee is her primary these days. |

| Tournament is still growing. http://www.hpfencing.com
We had someone from NY City register last week and I have peopel from Califonia and Nevada that seem very interested as well.
I'm been asked in another threat about an airport..
AMarillo has a great airport tha most flights go through DFW to get here. Most htoel have a shuttle service from the hotel and a shuttle service to the venue.... The Amarillo Civic Center; Regency Conference Arena.
Hope that helps some of you with your plans. |

| We are moving the registration form and pre-registration list to Askfed.net. It seems to be prefered by a lot of fencers.
Please note that not all the registrations will be moved at once. We are having to mannually type them and it may take a little while to get them all on but they should all be on at some point today.
I hope this helps everyone out. |

| WOW, I am impressed this is going to be the biggest event our area has ever seen. I am excited; the Amarillo Civic Center. WOW, I don't even wnata know how you pulled that one off!
Matt, I think you are doing a great job at organizing and setting up this event. I wish we had the organization skills at Amarillo College Fencing Association to do the same level tournament. We miss yo at ACFA. I cannot wait till the big day. I hope lots more from out of town sign up. I think it'll grow by leaps and bounds now that Bill Oliver is coming in and it's on AskFred.
Great job, see you at the event! |

| Thanks for the info, I hope a few of the Amarillo College fencers take advantage of this opportunity and to not travel and fence high level fencers.

| Although the event is getting bigger it is still fencing. You will do fine. Thanks for pushing the AC crowd into signing up.. I hope there are not too many problems there. I have nocite very few AC people going to events recently. |
