Array "Sure." he said, "I have about three more downstairs." The two of them walked down the hall and turned the corner into Josh's room. He put down the box. "Okay, the rest of the stuff is down in my truck." he said. They headed down the hall again. He noticed she had an accent and he grew curious. "So, where are you from?" he asked. Array "England." She replied. "I lived there." She winced. 'I lived there?' Honestly Chelsea, could you be any more stupid? she thought to herself.
"What about you?" She asked, trying to cover for herself. "Wars may be fought with weapons, but they are won by men. It is the spirit of men who follow and of the man who leads that gains the victory." - George S. Patton -

Array Josh's interest perked up at the mention of Britain. "No kidding? I've always wanted to go to England. See Big Ben and maybe visit an English opera house. That's my idea of a overseas vacation. Me? I'm from Alabama, way down south." His southern accent was light but he figured it was noticeable to her. Making friends with a British chick was the last thing he expected to do today.

Array She laughed and attempted to toss her hair out of her face. It didn't work.
"England is alright, but it gets old after a while. It rains a lot and can get a little dreary at times." She blushed a little. "To tell you the truth, I've always wanted to go south somewhere over here. My grandparents raised me to be Miss Manners and I don't remember ever getting dirty." She laughed. "That probably sounds childish."
She shifted her box a little.
"So, did you grow up on the farm with your seve brothers and sisters, chores every morning and fishing afterward?" She grinned. "Wars may be fought with weapons, but they are won by men. It is the spirit of men who follow and of the man who leads that gains the victory." - George S. Patton -

Array After grabbing some boxes from his truck they were heading back up the long flight of stairs as the conversation continued. Josh laughed at the idea that he had worked on a farm.
“No, see I’m from Huntsville Alabama. Huntsville is a technology town. I know some about farming but I’ve done more skeet shooting and dove hunting than anything else.” He shifted the box uncomfortably. “I have a sister and a brother though. How about you?” he finished. Array "Unfortunately I'm the baby of the family. My two brothers are twins, they're 29 and a sister who is 26. Let's just say I got picked on a lot when I was little." She grinned sheepishly. "They all mean well though. Can't hold too many grudges. Are you close with your brother and sister?" "Wars may be fought with weapons, but they are won by men. Array "I guess so. My brother and I went hunting a lot and I was always the one who looked out for my sister, she's younger than me." He opened teh door to their hall and started down it. "So what brings you to our fine country? What's your major?" he asked, turning the corner into his room. Array "Escaping from home I guess. The ironic part is the fact that I'm majoring in history and my stong point is European history. So I came here to learn about there. It's rather . . well ironic. With a minor in Theater. What's yours?" "Wars may be fought with weapons, but they are won by men. It is the spirit of men who follow and of the man who leads that gains the victory." - George S. Array "I'm double majoring in Russian and Philosophy. The philosophy will come in handy in the LSAT when I'm trying to get into Law School, all that use of logic you know. This school is pretty good in foreign language I heard." He put the box on the floor and she did the same. "Only one more." he said, he could see that she was relieved. "I'll carry it." he said, "Walk with me." "We have much to say about this, but it is hard to explain because you are slow to understand." Hebrews 5:11 -

Array "Alright," She smiled. "Sounds like you're going to have your hands full for quite some time. Me, I couldn't do Russian. We, my brothers and sister and I, met these Russians one day and I assume they were trying to ask for directions. It was like trying to make sense out of baby jabber. My hat's off to you for that one." "Wars may be fought with weapons, but they are won by men. It is the spirit of men who follow and of the man who leads that gains the victory." - George S. Patton -

Array "Thanks, I figure I'll need it for international law. Not sure where I'll go from there, but a Fed job might be my best bet. I don't mind." They entered the stairwell and started down. "What do you want to do with that History degree?" He stopped himself and ruffled his eyebrows at her with interest. "You've helped me move in, was there anything you need help with? It's only fair." Array She laughed.
"Well if you can tell me where I can find a pair of twin sheets and a comforter then I'll be set, and Egyptology is my plan. Though I'll most likely end up teaching." Array "Hmm...sheets. We can check the school store. They have alot of stuff. You know these schools have a tendency to make their beds a special length so that only a certain brand of sheet will fit. That bothers me, cause you have to buy from them and that means they charge you an arm and a leg." Walking out to his truck he picked up the final box and closed his tailgate. Array She sighed.
"That's just what I need. An arm and a leg for sheets." She stuffed her hands in the cuff pocket of her hoodie. It was only then she realized how sloppy she must look. They're already chewing my right arm off for tuition and my left leg for books. Forget rooms and well now sheets. You wouldn't know where the store is would you? Im not good at directions around here yet." "Wars may be fought with weapons, but they are won by men. It is the spirit of men who follow and of the man who leads that gains the victory." - George S. Array Left my room. Brought my story to my publicist. He told me he would read it.
Hungry.Needed food. Left for the cafeteria. Picked up my sandwich. Sat down alone at a small, grated black table. Opened my book, and began to read. I lost myself in the pages of Stoker's masterpeice. Forgot about my food. Food wasn't interesting. Dracula sustained me. I didn't notice anything around me. Just my book and I. Array "The cheaper the better. Shouldn't you unpack though? It's kind of late and class is tomorrow." She replied.
"Yeah you're probably right. How about after class?" Josh questioned.
"Sounds great. My room is right down the hall, 510. Why dont' you drop by after class and we'll go then." She smiled.
"Great. Tomorrow it is then."
She smiled and began to walk to her room.
"Wait, what will you use for tonight?" He called.
She shrugged. "I'll make due." She smiled over her shoulder. "Goodnight Josh."
"Night, it was nice to meet you." He called a little louder down the hall.
She put a finger to her lips.
"Shh, it was nice to meet you too." She replied a little quieter. With a wave, she unlocked her door and went into her room.
She put her key on her desk, looked around a moment and then simply fell backward onto her bed.
"Well, first day went well." She smirked to herself. Lyn turned over in her sleep and so Chelsea fell silent and curled up on her matress. "Wars may be fought with weapons, but they are won by men. Array Ah, the joys of being an Astronomy major...sleep during the day, homework in the evening, class at night, and watching the sunrise before going back to sleep. A strange schedule, but Lissa loved it. She had good friends, other Astronomy geeks, who she ate midnight "lunch" with. And as her boyfriend was going to school in Maine, she didn't have to worry about mixing her schedule with another's.
She hummed a bit as she straightened up her room, then gathered up her books and headed off to class, passing a black-haired girl and another unfamiliar guy on the way down the stairs. She wondered if she'd ever get to know the people on her floor, besides knowing who talked the loudest and who would yell back at her when she asked for quiet. Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should get used to the idea.

Array Miri if this needs changed or needs to wait lemme know Chelsea woke with a start the next morning. Lyn was already up and getting dressed.
"What time is it?" Chelsea asked groggily.
"Seven o'clock." Came Lyn's reply from the bathroom.
"Great." Chelsea went to throw off sheet only to realize she didn't have them. "Right, still need to get those."
"Sleep well?" Lyn asked.
"Did you ever hear the term 'slept like a rock'?"
"Yeah."
"Well the rock isn't comfortable in the morning." She groaned as she stretched.
Lyn laughed.
Chelsea pulled out a pair of jeans and a collared shirt. She changed quickly while Lyn was in the bathroom.
"We've got to get over this changing security bit." She called into Lyn.
"We will, don't worry."
"Say, where is the drama department anyway? I'm supposed to help Mr . .oh blast I'll get it someday. Mr. whatsit with a beginning drama class."
"No sweat, I'm helping out in there too. Apparently they're a bunch of rough houses and he needs all of the help he can get." Lyn replied, coming out of the bathroom.
"Great, that's the way to start a morning. Do we even get breakfast?"
"We can grab something from the Gallery on the way."
Chelsea went into the bathroom as Lyn came out.
"Great, leave in five?" Chelsea asked.
"Sure thing." "Wars may be fought with weapons, but they are won by men. It is the spirit of men who follow and of the man who leads that gains the victory." - George S. Patton -

Array Five minutes pass quickly when you're having fun. As the girls gathered their things, Lyn asked, "So how did you get the job of helping the beginning drama class? Aren't you a first year? When did you talk to Mr. Covington?" She stopped talking to smile weakly at Chelsea. "Sorry...about the third degree. I'm just naturally overly curious. I'd like to be a writer someday. I just don't have the time."
Chelsea nodded, understanding. "Quite all right."
"We'd better hurry. The Gallery is bound to be overrun by now." "Words are, of course, the most powerful drug used by mankind."
