| No, D'Art, I'm not giving up fencing. My daughter's the fencer.
I got the shoes (they really have been worn only once) from someone who didn't like them, thinking my daughter might grow into them. They're too big for her and I now think she's stopped growing. I got the Uhlmann Olympia knickers from Germany for 116EU ($141) and it seems I got a size too large on those as well. I'd just like to get my money back on these two items so I can put it towards some new BF foil blades that will pass the new curvature test next season.
Sorry you are already outfitted with shoes; maybe you'd like a to buy your next pair at a bargain price. I'm afraid the knickers would look a bit silly on you, though.

| Mills- I take it the shoes are women's 9s? I'd be interested if they were (though I'm unsure if I'd be looking for a 9 or a 9 1/2 *grumbles*) |

| Myra,
I'm not aware of any fencing shoes made in gender-specific sizes. Look at these Adidas on The Fencing Post, Blue Gauntlet, etc., and you'll see the only options are size number and hand preference.
You might ask to try on someone's at your club to figure your own size. Sorry I can't be more help.

They stretch a fair amount, fencing shoes need to be tight, and unfortunately the Equipments seem to explode at the toe of the back foot. That said I will buy them again - 'cause they "work" for me. |
