Word 304 begins a sentence that reads..."consult this board and search for posts about cleaning lames: "
See the sixth item on the menu bar above this message.

| Infinity Lame? Just out of curiosity, does anyone have some recommendations for washing an Infinity Lame? I was told at Divisionals that mine needed a mild cleaning (I've had it for 5 years, after all), but the person doing inspections couldn't tell me how to do it. Please help!
Thanks! |

| I'm told that they're hardier than stainless lames, but I plan to wash mine the same way I would the latter: what a stainless survives, an Infinity should survive better... |

| standard smart-a$$ response. you knew it was just a matter of time:
Even better, just toss the lame' entirely and switch to epee. |

| The infinity is definitely machine washable. I throw mine in the washing machine on the gentle cycle about once every two weeks or so, and it comes out just fine, and smelling much better then it went it.
I also throw it in the dryer on gentle, but that may be a bad idea. However, it hasn't hurt it yet.
