| Bolt-cutter if you mean the tang, dremel with reenforced bit if you mean the actual grip, or a hacksaw depending on the grip. |

| Do you mean GRIP as in the pistol/french grip, or the blade TANG?
Cutting the TANG I can offer this advice, thread your tapper on before you cut (bolt cutters are nice) and then back the tapper off to reset the threads. This is much easier than trying to re-thread after cutting.
As for cutting french grips, may I suggest a Katana?

| If you are cutting the actual grip use a dremel and the cutting wheels. They'll make short work of cutting the grip. The regular cutting wheels are pretty fragile though and you should expect to break one or two when cutting the grip. For the groove of the wire, just use the dremel to make a v shape and pull it out with a pair of pliers. Also, one thing to watch out for is when you cut the grip, know when the square hole turns run, otherwise your grip won't go up all the way to the bellguard.
I would also suggest using a dusk mask and eye protection since cutting the grip kicks up a bit of dust. |

| Dremmels are largely worthless for these tasks compared to old fashioned hand tools and elbow grease. You'll spend more time replacing the abrasive blades than doing hte cutting.
Grip: hacksaw or bandsaw, clean up with file
Tang: Bolt cutter, clean threads on grinder or with file |
