    Monal Team event pictures

    Hi,

Pictures from the team event of the Monal challenge are now available:

I have tried to take some pictures from the US team, however only a few are good enough to be shown. I didn't get a nice "face shot" of Seth Kelsey.

    Hey Vecco,

Those are great pictures! Did you take them?

    veeco,
    thanks for the great fotos.
were you shooting digital? what equipment were you using?

I noticed in the 1st 8 fotos you're cutting the feet off the subjects. Leave the feet in, the fotos look more complete that way. No, i don't have a foot fetish, not for male fencers anyway...

This is not digital, I cannot afford a DSLR camera.

Pics where shot with a used Nikon F5 I purchased of off eBay, 70-200 lens and Fuji Press 800 or 1600, scanned with a negative scanner, and cropped/tweaked in Photoshop.

I know about the feet being cut off. I tried to get close ups of the action but those guys were moving back and forth too fast, not helping me for a good composition.
