| "Go to first unread post" function Craig, I notice this function is lapsing very quickly after I log in again. I find it really useful, but if I spend any time posting to a thread it shuts off and all the other thread titles go from bold to regular print and I have to try to find where the thread stopped the previous day by trial and error. Any way the effective time could be extended to what it was before the last board update? |

| I think it's reverted to the old timeout. I don't think I was on the board half an hour when I emerged from a thread to find that all of the rest had elapsed from "Go to first unread" status.... |

| I had to revert back to the old cookie timeout because the number of users on the board was causing the one of the tables in the database that tracks user sessions to get overloaded and cause a bunch of DB errors.
As fencing.net gets a bit more self-sufficient I'll be able to invest in some growth options (like a dedicated server).

Craig | There are at least a couple of us interested in helping out with the self-sufficient bit if a non-Pay Pal option is available (see recent comments in the 'Go Green' thread). The plastic hasn't quite cooled down from the holidays yet, now's the time to get us while we're still in 'I'll look at the bill later!' mode. |
