Making a mask to jacket cord It looks simple enough to do, but is there any reason why I can't take a telephone receiver cord (i.e. curly), strip the wires bare, and then solder them to crocodile clips for a homemade mask to jacket cord? Receiver cords have two colored wires, so is it sufficient to strip just one wire of the same color on both ends to complete the circuit? Or do I have to strip both wires? I am in no way electrically adept, so any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Array A telephone cord wire has 4 wires in it and yes you need to strip all four wires and you need two number 27 muller clips. and the cord has to sctrech out to 40cm in length.

Array even better cord I found a great wire/cord to make a mask dongle (or what ever you call it). Find an old cell phone charger designed to plug into your car. They have a high quality spiral cord, 2 or 3 wires. use it the same as the phone cords but it's a better wire & it looks cool.

Thanks, guys. As it happens, I have an old car cell phone cord, so I'll give it a try.
