Gretsch 1965 Country Gentleman, and Yamaha acoustic 1975. Sadly, not enough time to play on 'em. Nice guitars, though.

DangerMouse: That's a great bass, too. Not too many fretless players out there. Do you play upright bass as well?

Geez, I haven't played much since college ... fond memories of dating a singer-songwriter and spending late nights poring over lead sheets, a mixing board, SM58s, and Cool Edit.

Some nice gear in this thread, I'll add what's getting woefully underplayed in my closet:
    Hamer USA Studio
    1960s Epiphone Dreadnaught
    Tacoma Chief

There are a lot more guitar players on this board that still haven't responded! I'm one as well, with an old Harmony acoustic (late 60's or early 70's), an Electra Omega that I bought in 1978 (its a Les Paul copy, great pickups; just had the busted neck fixed & it sounds great!), a B.C. Rich Warlock (that Dar Tanyon's brother did some inlay work on for me: www.sharkinlay.com, it's the wizard pictured for "fret inlays"), and I just bought a beautiful Hoefner Beatle bass knock off and new bass amp that sounds fantastic. The semi-hollow body on the bass gives it some beautiful tones.

    Ah cool.

If we're going beyond guitars, then I have a Pearl 5 piece forum drum kit, with 7 lovely cymbals from Sabian, Zildjian, Paiste, and Stagg. Also accessorised with a cowbell, a tambourine, claves, those egg things, a vibra slap and a thunder tube.

I just got am acoustic Fender for Christmas. I'm stoked! Stil teaching myself though, so not much but plucking.

Foilygeezer do you actually play that violin? That's definately got to be worth something. Don't throw that out.

    I'll throw down too!

    Guitarist,
Pity I am such a jazz geek. . . . ah well, so heres the list (in part!!) a Dell Arte 7 string anouman (like what django used to play with one more string!) a pic is at http://www.gtrs4u.com/Inventory/dell...S_Anouman7.jpg It's totall great, And I love it. I also have a 7 string breedlove - made in Tupelo OR. It's currently visiting the west for repairs. I have a paracho made classical- My younger brother bought it for me during a trip he made there for 50 bucks. It's really quite nice for the money! I have some other stuff too- but I don't really use it. For amps I have a Crate taxi (because busking is fun if you don't run into the transit cops!) and a quirky gibson "made" line called the gemini- made in Canada, its great for amping up archtops or acoustics!
Guitar is great, music is great!
It's my life- and my job!
    Cheers,
    B.
    Ps. more
PPS. I am buying a 7 string classical this summer, as well as a upright bass!

    Rock 'n' Rooolllll!

Anyway, I need to buy an amp, a nice all valve one. I've realised that an orange AD15 is not going to happen this side of university, so I'm considering the cheaper option of a peavey classic 30.

Anyone have one? And do they recommend it?

    Ta!
