    FIE gear for sale

    Hi all,
My name is Kaila Finlayson, I used to be a cadet and junior epee fencer based in Portland, OR, until I was injured and now cannot fence. I used to participate on here and wanted to say hi and that I miss all of you in the fencing world, and that I have equipment for sale. It is in good condition and the only reason I am selling is that I hope to support my endeavors in marching band and drum corps.
    I have
-an Uhlmann FIE foil/epee mask in good shape, I believe it is a small, FIE 2002 (bought in Sept of 2002, only used for six months or so).
-an FIE womens underarm protector (I believe it is Uhlmann), email me for exact size specifications, but I generally wear a medium in shirt size if that helps. I got it in summer of 2002 and did not use it often as I am not that fond of an extra layer :-)
    - 4 epee bodycords, various types, two of them are BG "easy to repair" (i believe), all of them worked afaik last time i used them
-FIE smaller womens jacket, allstar, the heavier material kind, older- 1998? and in need of new velcro for the collar
    - FIE larger knickers, uhlmann, also the heaver kind of material, actually left-handed although I am right handed and it didnt bother me that the pocket was on the other side, 1998

Please email me if you are interested. I am aware of the values of all my equipment and also am aware that fencing is a extremely difficult sport to deal with finacially (been there), so I can be flexible!
    Thank you!

Sorry to hear about your injury. Will it keep you from fencing permanently?

So far, yes. But as strange as it sounds, I found that there are other things to be obsessed with out there! Things not so expensive, for one!

...and that's drum corp and marching band???!!!!

Sorry to hear that you'll not be able to fence in a place like Portland, OR.

You should let your prospective buyer know which year is on the FIE labels and the blades if they're FIE blades. It helps.

    Take care,
    PK

Sorry to hear about your injury, I don't know what your injuries are, but if you are interested, wheelchair fencing might be an option...

    When did this happen?

I remember you went over to Europe for a long time for some competition, but when did you get injured?

    I agree, though.

But I wholeheartedly agree. Marching band and drum corp are probably a better way to spend your time.

Sorry to hear about your injuries and hope you are going to be ok. I have a club in Amarillo Texas and would be interested in purchasing the equipment that you cannot sell at a "good" price.

    My e-mail is admin@hpfencing.com
