Array Regarding Chatting Live The live chat would appear to be no longer accessible as a java chat for Fencing.net. However there are some users who are still frequenting it. Namely myself, Riceboy, and End`Of`The`World`DJ. As much fun as this is the three of us are all still novices. We would very much appreciate anyone who uses IRC joining in the chatting. We are all interested in fencing.
For what its worth those of you using IRC can access the Live Chat here:
network: irc.worldirc.org
channel: #fencing
If no one seems to be talking wait a bit someone will come along. We would all love to have other people with whom we can discuss fencing join us.
If you don't know what IRC is then feel free to visit www.mIRC.com to find a website with information about this form of chatting as well as a program to use to access it. -

Array I'm usually there (at least logged in), if you say my name in the channel you'll probably get me to respond. -

Array unless they changed something, mIRC used to be free ware considing it was only a chat program. infact you dont even NEED to use mIRC to connect to irc rooms lol. -

Array The free browser Mozilla includes an IRC client. It's available from http://www.mozilla.org. As an added bonus you can set it to block popups--I haven't seen one in years... -

or better yet, provide a link irc://irc.worldirc.org/fencing
I use FireFox with the ChatZilla extension. Both are put out by mozilla.org and FireFox is my new browser of choice. You have two opponents, the one standing on the strip, and the one standing to the side of it. -
