Being from Ga I naturally checked to see how my division did. I noticed something that brought a question to my mind. How many Jacobsons are there (of course I'm assuming they are related to those two most famous Jacobsons)? And do they all fence sabre?

Sada's sisters are Emily and Jackie. Her dad is David, who competes in veteran sabre and is one of the best. Mom is Tina (she fenced for a while recreationally, and I keep trying to get her to come back to veteran competition) and a really cool lady.

I don't know if Anna Jacobson, who also fences at Nellya, is a cousin or something, but she's not in the immediate family at any rate.

There's also Dov Jacobson. I think he's related to the other Jacobsons, but not sure how.

It was an amazing tourney...Foil was especially good, though a foilist/epeeist from my club, Graham Wicas, was in the top 8 after pools but lost his first DE to some random guy and ended up 65th the coach wasn't too happy about that... But our club had some good results.
