Help locating a sabre handle. Ive been asking around and checking websites but I havent found anything that was of much help.
Im trying to figure out who manufactures the handle of a beautifully put together sabre I recently had the pleasure of holding.
It's a blue handle, rubber, and very hard/dense. Someone suggestiong maybe it's from santelli?
The handles that I use currently are also blue, and rubber, but they're much softer than the one Im looking for. If anyone has any idea, please help me out?
Thanks. We must walk consciously only part way toward our goal, and then leap in the dark to our success.

Array Sounds like a Santelli. I believe they're rubber over aluminum. Use the Shift key, people! Keyboard manufacturers everywhere are ineffably saddened when you ignore what they made just for you! -

Array I use a blue rubber Uhlmann grip, it's quite hard but has a lot of....traction i guess? It grips your glove nicely. Is that what you're thinking about? -
Could be?
Im not really sure what Im thinking of <img src="graemlins/crap.gif" border="0" alt="[Crap]" />
Perhaps I could narrow it down a bit more. This handle was rounded..I dont know exactly how to describe it..
In contrast to the red rubber, allstar I think? handles, where the top is somewhat flat, the blue rubber one Im thinking of is more or less rounded all the way around.
Also, to conserve space from using a new thread, does anyone have any suggestions on what the best sabre bell guard is? Perferable something light.
Thank you all for the help. We must walk consciously only part way toward our goal, and then leap in the dark to our success.

We have some Blue Gauntlet sabers and the handles are blue. However they are sorta cushy. -

Array The french manufacturer Prieur has excelent sabre grips, thin, hard rubber and perfectly designed for the thumb to direct the point.
Damien Touya, for example, uses them. And he's fairly handy with the sabre... Similar Threads -
