Fencing Clothing Measurements Hi!! Been a long time since i visited this board. Loaded with my studies this past few months. Whoa.. been fencing for a year already and loving every bit of it.
Anyway, i am planning to ask one of the fencing suppliers to make custom fencing clothing. Any suggestions? What do you need to measure by yourself so that i can send to the supplier and it will custom tailor the fencing clothing? Do try and elaborate clearly on your replies, please.
Thank you for your attention,

You should ask the supplier you intend to buy from. They might have specific requests that someone here wouldn't know. For instance, Triplette normally requests my wrist/neck size when I order a jacket, whereas Blade has never asked me for that info. However, for all them, you're going to need a tape measure. To not recognize the power of the propane torch is to be in denial. -

Array wrist and neck, is that to prevent the opponents weapon from going up the sleeve or neck? that's interesting. a designer with whom i am friends recently asked for the following measurement:
cross shoulder, waist to neck bone, waist around, hip I(4" from waist), hipII (8" from waist), skirt length, inseam, top length, sleeve length, muscle circumfrance (bicept)backlenth, and also from me: from waist to crotch. sorry, but that's important for measuring foil/epee jackets. -
