A few people have reported receiving an error when they attempt to get to the discussion forum and other sections of Fencing.Net.

This has to do with the current limits that my web hosting provider places on database usage.

From the host:
"We have now put limits on the number of concurrent sql connections to your account. The number has been set to 25, which means you will be able to fit 50-60 users online at one time without experiencing sql errors.

If you require more connections, you will need to upgrade/purchase a dedicated server. The number has been generated from a few host's that offer between 10-15 concurrent mysql connections. To optimize maximum performance for our clients we have set this limit in place."

So, with the popularity of the forums and the new news system in place, it seems like fencing.net is starting to outgrow it's current home.

I'll have to start researching using a dedicated server, but that's a much more expensive option than the current shared hosting solution. I'll keep monitoring the server status and will see what I can do.

Thanks,
Craig
