Sometimes those "light" books fun. I have read a couple of the Dresden books and some by Scott Westerfield. On the magic and fantasy front, the Circle trilogy by... Nora Roberts, believe it or not, it quite good.

Dead Witch Walking - et. al - I liked them. However, the books are what they are - a light entertainment. There is a sameness to them, but I like the characters so I keep reading the books. These type of books are perfect for my commute on the train.

I also read and enjoyed Jennifer Rardin's Jaz Parks Series, as well as reading all the House of Night Books - although I find those a little more insipid. I've also read all the Dresden Files by Jim Butcher - they get much better as the series progresses. The first few are dismal, but the later ones are much better.

Who would think that I was grown given my reading preference - lol.

Sorry to hear about your overloaded schedule. I hear people complain sometimes about having so many meetings about all the stuff they have to do that they never have time to actually _do_ the stuff.

For me, yesterday was one of the better days I have had in a long time. I have high hopes for today. =^_^=

Unfortunately not so much - very busy with too much to do, too many meetings and not enough time before everything is due.
