Because my radiation appointments are at 4 p.m. every day, I have to get to work early and make up for leaving early. And if each treatment goes as badly as yesterday's did, I need that extra time in the morning to get all of my work done before I leave. I won't be able to do anything in the evenings.

Yup get to go eat a nice steak dinner, then go get my butt kicked on go-carts with a bunch of friends after. Amusingly, my fencing coach has the exact same birthday as I do. We make it a big celebration.

I don't think we've crossed blades. I haven't done much as I said two seasons ago I hit the Div 1 NAC's but and one Vet NAC but not much else. When our club in Chambersburg closed in April 2007 I didn't feel like doing too much. I still try and help Terrie out- I understand what you mean about the young guns, they do seem to be more aggressive against the older fencers- I made that mistake in my first vet event- then I remembered - after getting my butt kicked- most vets have been around long enough to know how to handle the aggressive get around that stuff- It's been nice chatting with you- I hope we do get a chance to fence in the near future.- Dave

I'm from Chambersburg, you're probably familiar with a few people I fence with, Tony Alvarez- sabre, Terrie Doom - epee. I haven't competed much in the past few years- hopefully that will change this year. Coletta is the last name- have we crossed blades before?

Yeah, I have a bad habit of leaning forward on my attacks sometimes. It works as a surprise after I've made them think my attacks will be a bit short, so I can then give that extra reach and tag em. If I screw up though, recovery is a bit of a problem....But I try to be careful and precise with those longer attacks.

Why not, but make it quick since I don't know how long I would be at this job.

I think that the film Clueless was very deep. I think it was deep in the way that it was very light. I think lightness has to come from a very deep place if it's true lightness. - Alicia Silverstone
