You are correct, our times are in the gym the tournament was in, 6-8pm, Mon and Wed. We start footwork drills and such at 6-6:10, so if you are wanting to be there for those be aware of the time.
If you want to work with electrical gear, or have anybody that wants to go over the finer points of refereeing, we'll be glad to set things up and work with them. Hope to see you around! -
Sounds good. We are going to try and arrange a monthly trip down there. I understand that practice is the same as ours: Mon and Wed from 6-8? -
We have highly experienced fencers, but no professional coaches. Michael, who is the head of the club, has been fencing for around 10-15 years, if not longer. We have also picked up a new guy this year, Erik, who fenced foil for Duke and has been teaching as well. Our Sabre maestro is Brian, however he does not always show up, so you just have to get lucky for him to be there if sabre is your thing.
We would gladly have you down for group lessons if you like, we charge $10/person for group lessons, they usually are for 30 minutes or so. We have varying levels of skill going, and we can easily find people to work with you and drill if you want lessons. -
Do you have a pro coach over there? We've got our club started in Helena, but those of us that are experienced fencers are not qualified to teach more than the basics. I've got a few people who'd be willing to make the journey to Bozeman once in a while for some lessons from a real coach (myself included). All times are GMT -4. The time now is 05:39 AM. |
