I rather write in English (so no one gets angry about it)... For epee best is Honvéd for sure, and it's generally closed in the summer. Now it should be open, from around 4pm latest. MTK is not bad either. On the Buda side there are no epee clubs, and generally... it's Honvéd and MTK to be top, plus BVSC which is even more off...
Well, that's all I can say now...

I am Hungarian, but I will write in English in case other people have the same question as I do. I have moved from California to Budapest and I have fenced foil for 2 years. I would like to try epee and I have heard that honvéd is the place to go.

Whenever I tried to enter the building during the summer, the doors were locked. Were they supposed to be closed during the summer? Do you know any people that go to honvéd so that i could talk to them (in English/Hungarian)?

Are there any alternatives to honvéd, as it is really, really far from where I live (the edge of the second district).
