Oh, yeah, we have semi good refs too. Even I'm not THAT terrible... But this girl had been in it for maybe a month(?).. I dunno. Long story short, she had no idea whatsoever how the hell to call things, lol.

But um.. yeah, same for me. I've never actually BEEN to a nac. Nats, yes, NAC, no. I'll try to hit some thins upcoming season, but I dunno. I'm not going to CA for nationals, though.

Haha, last night at the club, though? I fenced a woman with really weird moves who thought she was good and I could tell did not like me because she thought I was a newbie know-it-all (when really SHE was new) and had a little girl judging who kept asking ME how to call the points... and since the majority in all fairness should have been mine (I'm a fair person; I also gave her the two that I thought were clearly hers) the woman was getting really miffed. After the bout (5-4, me, no way it would have happened that way in a tourney) she goes, "So, have you got a year or two under your belt?"

I answered simply, "Six." And turned away while she had an 'ohhhh' look on her face.


Funniest. Thing. Ever. Even though it irked me... I forgot five minutes later, anyway. I was off being a weirdo with my friends, whom I missed so very very much.

I really hate fencing div 2 and 3, honestly. Okay, not so much div 2 but when you go to 2/3 tournaments and have to fight through all the crappy fencers only to get to good fencing right before the finals, I say boo to that. I despise going to competitions like that because I know that I'll spend the first half of my day bored as hell. When that happens it's really hard to keep the momentum up.

No, div 3 is really lame.

Okay, so I am buying all FIE LP stuff, team line plus mask, glove, and underarm pro. I think I should get the x-change mask but I gotta say I think they look retarded. At the same time, I would kill to be able to wash my bib. On top of that I'm getting the white mesh mask (personal style preference) and I don't really want to shell out the extra dough for the white x-change... I hate these sorts of dilemmas... thoughts?

I feel like my C is my turning point. Not having it keeps me toiling in div 2 and 3, insted of 1 and 2. I plan on having my B by then end of next season.
