    Haha, better them than me! Yup, I'll just sit back and "relax, don't worry, have a homebrew". In fact, I need to rack my "Hop-Nog" sometime in the next couple evenings. Mmm...

    Absolutely! Put all that teenage energy into something useful, like lugging 50 lb jugs of beer around and lifting it onto tables for racking

    Hmm... it does seem to underscore the essential stability of the on guard position. Maybe sideways shuffling with carboys should become a new pedagogical tool for instructing beginners!

    You know, reading your post about advancing with your carboy, made me suddenly realize that I used to do the same back when I was brewing. Fencing was still many years in the future however, so perhaps the "sideways carboy shuffle" is just a natural use for an unnatural position!
