I have sunk deeper into my pit of despair - and have been spending the last few months partying perhaps a little too much. I am on the verge of change and may return to California in order to conquer west coast fencing. How have you been - my sword wielding vixen?
What happened to you, DavidX?
Blizzard - now I have to wait until Jan 2nd for the Hangover Classic - but its Going to be an A2 event so I'm going to go from U to A. but never A to M
Why did they cancel the tournament?!
I drove all the way to effing Charlottesville even though I knew they might cancel the tournament - and do you know why - because I remembered you driving all that way for just practice and I felt that I should prove my own hardcoreness - so I drove 2 hours before they called and than drove 2 hours back - at like 90 mph in the constant rain. So basically what I'm saying is that you owe me 4 hours of life.
My mom had it on, and far be it from me to steal the remote from my mother. When I'm at school I have a fair number of people to practice with, but part of the reason I drive so far to get to practice is that in Hometown, there's really only one other epeeist, and my coach wants me to practice with as many different people as possible. I broke my spare weapon, so I have a lot of armoring to do before my tournament tomorrow
No UNC yet but I might be - I fence four days a week here but there are so few people at the club it gets a little disheartening. That's totally badass - the driving and all - and you are thusly recognized as enviably and righteously hardcore. (even with the whole Dog Whisperer thing..)
It's only midnight here. I got back from practice about an hour ago, and I haven't gotten unwired yet. I'm making some oatmeal and watching the Dog Whisperer before I go to bed. Are you associated with UNC? I can relate with the loving fencing. Today, I got in a fight with my parents over the car and drove two hours in the dark, snow, rain, and Chicago rush hour traffic to get to about an hour of practice.
north carolina actually - why is you up so late - I'm up because I have to stay up to drive to a tournament at 4 in the morning thats 5 hours away. Because I loves the fencing.
Northern IL, as you can see from my profile. And you fence in... Northern Colorado!
