No, I mean next year's nationals. I failed profoundly at qualifying for this years, although I was only one place short of qualifying for Junior, which is harder to qualify for, and very short of qualifying for Div 2 and 3.
Next year's nationals are in Dallas. I have some friends who live pretty close, and at least one other fencer in my club will try to go, so hopefully I'll be able to make it.anyways.
We do at least have a few people who can ref well.
But yeah, hopefully. I don't know how many National tournaments I can hit up, this next season, since I'll be in college(I'm not that old, I'm just graduating a year early.) I'm hoping to fence in the Portland NAC, since that's really close, but first I'll need a C rating, which I think I can manage.
I might try to make it to the Junior Olympics, too, and I'll definitely try to make it to the Nationals.
Don't speak too soon... Pretty much the best foil fencer in our club is a 13 year old kid who's taken last in every open he's done, and close to last in y14 events. Except maybe Jonathan, who did a bit better at the Portland NAC.
My club has a good coach, but we have a pretty good dearth of good fencers. For epee, our best fencer is a D08, although really I think he's good enough for at least a C, followed by me.
Sarcasm, artsy things, fencing, music, chocolate. I've just explained my life to you in one sentence. Feel special.

I have many: Animal tamer, baby wrangler, being a music phreak (like a Jesus phreak only different), and giving you that unsettling feeling in the pit of your stomach.
