Ha! ha! I'm sure there are. I'll just have to read the discussion threads and figure out who to listen to.

LOL... not fencing and discussing fencing hasn't stopped some people. Seriously, there's some people who offer better advice than others, after a while you figure out who to listen to and who really doesn't have a clue.

Internet bravado can be a problem. But lucky for me I like a good fight. Um I mean debate. This is why I stay in the water cooler. That and the fact that I've only been fencing for a year and I haven't competed yet, so really I don't know what the real fencers are talking about. lol.

Spoken like someone who studied law.

I must admit however, it can be fun getting in a good argument every now and then. In the thread I commented, I fully expected you to respond. That's the beauty of the Internet... age, gender, ethnicity etc... isn't obvious so they don't affect the validity of one's point of view to the same degree as in face to face. In addition people are more likely to make statements they may not otherwise make in a face to face conversation, thus providing amusement to people such as I who like watching them back pedal.

Thanks. The Water Cooler is really only fun when there's "debating"
