My q-ball is getting fuzzy. It was patchy starting back, so I kept it shaved until it evened out.

I suppose being older than one's own children is a good thing.
Being whisker-less in summer is not such a bad thing... but at 20 below... Fortunately I have a number of fitted knit caps. They should grow back.....
