Hey, thanks for asking. So far so good. I've got feeling back in my thumb, but I'm not allowed to do much of anything yet (no driving either which is driving me up a wall!). I got back to the doc at the end of the month...and of course the one question on my list is, "When can I start doing at least footwork?" So, won't know much else until my next appointment...hopefully another week or so!

how goes the rehab?

Yea, unfortunately the numbness is from my neck (one of my discs is pushing on my spinal cord). Keystones was my last tournament probably until November-ish. I'm having surgery in 3 weeks to fix my neck, so we'll see what happens. It was definitely a good time on Saturday...at least for me! lol

Ah, gotcha. I was very pleased with how I did. 6 out of 8 in the Mixed Sabre. I should've stopped my DE when my neck got too bad, but dumb @$$ here sucked it up and finished it crying...but I enjoyed it despite my neck. Footwork and distance were great, bladework was decent despite the numbness in my thumb and hand. So all in all it was a great tourney for me! Sry you missed all the fun!

Hey, had a lesson with Nic last night. It went pretty well! Knee hurt, but the lesson went very well.

Hey, I didn't start just yet. I was going to go over last week, but I popped my knee at that tournament at BCAF and tonight was the first night I fenced on it since I wanted to give it a rest. I'm doing the foil and sabre tournaments this weekend over there and will talk to him more then. I'm figuring on starting next week since I work this wed night. I'll let you know how the lessons go! When I talked to Kim tonight, he seemed to think the lessons are a good idea, so we'll see what happens! I'll let ya know!

Ok, I know I keep saying it, but as long as I don't oversleep, I'll try to be up tonight. I'll be the one you don't know, carrying the fencing bag, looking completely shy and lost. lol!
