Not bad- suffering from tendonitis in both elbows, but new meds seem to be relieving this symptom. Currently assisting with a local college program and teaching at the local rec center. all in all ok.
The right wrist is great. The left leave much to be desired. It was reinjured in September and I haven't fenced since then. Before that, I was fencing, even during my exchange trip to Germany. As soon as my asthma stops acting up, I'm hoping to start fencing again. How have you been?
Been a while- but- is the hand still ok? Getting any fencing in?
wow- that is good news- glad to hear it! I've been away from the board so sorry for the lag in reply.
It's been a while, but I have good news. My wrist has finally stopped hurting and I have a normal range of motion. Either it's healed, or my body just got used to it.
Thanks. The pain has gone down some. It's not making me pass out anymore. Hopefully, I'll be able to have it fixed at some point. I'm just glad that it's my right hand, not the left.
oh man, that's horrible..I don't know what to say beyond I'm sorry...
It would be correctable with surgery. The problem is, I have no insurance. There is no possible way I can afford to have surgery.
I hope your friend is pointing you in the right direction and you can resolve this problem. Is this a more correctable injury- I mean, is there a need for surgery or can physical be an option? I wouldn't wish the surgeries I had to correct my problem on any one. Kind Regards!
I was talking to a friend of mine who is a doctor and described my wrist problem to her. She thinks I tore the cartilage. I'm beginning to think she's right.
