More than anything...it's not what you're saying, it's how you went about saying it. Yeah, I know exactly the kinds of programs you're talking about--and as a club fencer I find it upsetting too, tbh. But the language and attitude of the post...well, I figure there's gotta be some way to get answers without getting yourself slagged in the process, yeah?
