Unfortunately, no. I'm trying to prioritize my art this year so my tournament appearances are going to be pretty sparse!

yes greg is our head coach and he does. He can get frusturated at times but its expected to happen. It seems as though we have very little sabre at our club unfortunatly. Well he started a sabre class a few weeks ago and the funny thing is it is evenly distributed between guys and girls. Most of the people at my club are older or a lot younger, i tend to hang out with and fence the college kids. I hope to run into your son sometimes when i start competing, it sounds like he is a great fencer. Always nice to meet someone else who is dedicated to the sport. Unfortunaly i can only fence 3-4 times a week, but i also practice at home. Its strange, but my fencing has actually improved since i got my own sabre with a lightweight hungarian grip. Its just a lot easier to menuver for feints and such. How long has charlie been fencing?

I really hope to start competing soon. I think it would be great to meet more sabre fencers, considering that everyone seems to think im crazy for fencing so much, no one seems to understand that its pretty much addictive. My sabre is absolutly amazing and i love it! How old is your son. The only other sabre fencers i know are older, im 16, my typical partner is 21. And then there are two girls where i fence that fence sabre, but they dont fence to much at all. Which kind of stinks so normally im at a loss for a sabre partner considering my normal one often gets caught up with school. Sabre is definatly my favorite weapon though, after fencing it i cant seem to fence anything else.

I intend on continuing fencing probably the rest of my life i hope. I started my sabre class last night. Im glad i just have a partner who supports me and doesn't let me get discouraged. In my opinion that is extremly important. Im getting my first sabre in a few hours when i go and pick it up so i am extremly excited. Its a Leon Paul custom Sabre. What weapons do your sons fence?

Thanks for your help. I heard about the even in charlotte the day that it happened, and i really want to get more training in before i get to tournaments. I still have to get another sabre, body chord, knickers and chest guard before i am even eligable for tournaments. And my Leon paul jacket and Sabre Have yet to arrive. What part of NC are you in?
