    Hi Phrogger,
Did you make it to the tournament this weekend? I wasn't able to bring stuff this year on Sunday, but we try to make people feel welcome. Perhaps my favorite part is the Anniversary tournament in February and the party after the final is always a labor of love. Hope you can make it this year. I love sabrecat. thanks, fencer's mom

    Mergs,

I'd be glad to do an illustration or cartoon for you! Some information I'll need to work up a quote: Do you want to use an existing drawing or commission a new one? How many books do you expect to print? Will the cover be in color or black and white? Do you already have a design in mind?

Feel free to PM or email me if you want to get into more detail.

    Phrogger,

Sam aka Purple Fencer, suggested that I contact you about possibly doing some artwork or the cover for the Second Edition of The Care and Feeding of All Things Fencing. I was wondering if you were interested. I'm already using a couple of Pete Russell's cartoons inside, so don't know whether or not something along those lines would work.

    P.S. Nice pic of a CH-46!

Nope, I doubt Donny is ever on the forums or anyone else from New Bern actually. I seem to be the only one with time to waste here! You can find my name over here if you're so inclined.

Donny...is that you. I am guessing from the New Bern comment, though perhaps it may be some one else.

Your character artwork looks great, reminds of Maus for some reason...It seems like you're doing it about the fastest way I can think of. Unless of course, you're a better hand inker than computer inker or have sharp pencil sketches then I'd suggest using Levels to clean your scans. Also, the fill tool should make coloring your line work a breeze since its so smoothly done...

    First post!

    Re: Sabrecat

Puts me in the mind of my Zelda, a grey tiger tabby that likes to fence sabre with me (and by fence I mean eat my blade after a paw-parry) and SWAT cats

Edit: What methods are you using to color? I may have a tip or two on how to speed things up.
