Hey there! Sorry I have been offline for a few days- had to fix my computer and clean and do a crap load of other things that I have been putting off lol BUT I'm back now!
Nope, I'm pretty sure they've changed that rule now. It's no longer illegal as far as I know.
And he wasn't carding for turning my shoulders. He was carding for 'covering', like I said. He also did it four times to this other little kid in one day... all in one bout. I mean, come on, it was Y-freaking-12 and it wasn't even sanctioned. All of HIS kids were using club gear and when something broke they'd just 'go get something else off the wall.' So this poor kid (from my club, too) was in tears because he lost his DE for second place because of that.
I haven't had that many EVER. In six years... I think I've had two. Maybe three.
And it isn't like I cross my arm over my chest. I keep it straight, and behind me. What I do is when we're really close and trying to go for a point, I turn my shoulders flat. So he said technically it was covering with my back arm. Now, I've gotta check the rules, definitely.
And, haha, this is hilarious. I had a nitpicky judge who SWORE I was covering target. (I do have a tendency to occasionally, and that's bad, believe me, but my coach said what i was doing this time technically wasn't the same.) So, believe it or not, I lost a DE 15-6, after getting a whole six freaking red cards...
To be honest, I haven't used my email in ages... Uhm. I need to find a freaking alternative here. Can you send it on myspace? Or did you delete yours? I can't remember.
And yeah, I was pretty satisfied, I guess. Except... lol, I have a pretty funny story involving today =P
Wow, what about? I've never read any of your novel! I want to.. Once I finish this little story (actually, I'm working on three or four different things right now) I'll probably put it on dA, so I expect you to read it and give me an opinion.
And I did find a name. I named him Vish. Kind of for someone. It's a long story.
Oh, and also I'm writing something new right now... but I'm at a loss for names, bleh. I've got a Dahlia and I need her male counterpart. Cannot for the life of me come up with something there.
